Saskatchewan and Manitoba – Genome Prairie is delighted to welcome Dr. Rahwa Osman as the new Project Manager, Genome360 (SK) effective July 26th, 2021. Dr. Osman will work closely with Genome360 project partners in Saskatchewan and lead the project and help optimize project outcomes for maximum benefits to the region.
Rahwa brings to Genome Prairie more than 10 years of diverse academic and community research experience gained through working with the Centre for Global Infectious Disease Research (Seattle, Washington), VIDO-InterVac, University of Saskatchewan, Agence de Médecine Préventive (Paris, France), and the National Institute of Health of Mozambique.
Rahwa holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Winnipeg, a Graduate Certificate in One Health, and a PhD in Vaccinology and Immunotherapeutics from the University of Saskatchewan.
