Saskatchewan and Manitoba – Genome Prairie is delighted to welcome Racquel Baert as the new Project Manager, Genome360 (MB) effective August 30th, 2021. Racquel will work closely with SeekNET project partners and members of the Manitoba life science community in general, for maximum benefits to the region.
Racquel brings to Genome Prairie more than 10 years of diverse research and community research and project management experience gained through working with Bioscience Association Manitoba, where she led the Prairie Bioscience Canada project, and at the National Research Council Canada – Institute for BioDiagnostics where she worked as the Science and Policy Officer and Project Manager.
Racquel has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, as well as a Master of Science in Physiology and Molecular Biology – both from the University of Manitoba.
